packed my laptop & all the accessories & the green peas into my big bag.. wow, heavy.. had this bad feeling tat todae will be a long day..

7.00am
left home.. sianz, sure quite late reach sch one.. =(

7.20am
finally reached sch.. the bus was so crowded that i almost couldn't get up the bus.. no wonder alvin was telling me tat he'll nv squeeze in a bus with the students.. so how? next time i shall drive? wahaha.. tat will haf to wait for many many years.. maybe i can get someone to drive me to sch? *hint* *hint*

7.30am
morning assembly

7.40am
the sch had reading period, so i went to look for mrs lim.. showed her my dna lesson notes.. haha.. when i told her i brought my laptop to sch juz in case, she said i 乖.. wahaha.. like a sister.. anyway, she gave me a few pointers wrt my lesson but said that it's ok, dun need to change the current one.. after tat, i saw mr yian, so i invited him to my lesson.. if he was interested, he could juz drop by.. then i went to find mr rashidin regarding teaching his 1e3 class the dna lesson todae.. the lesson is at 9.10am.. so he gave me his laptop's password and bio lab 2 key to transfer my powerpoint to his computer first..

7.50am
went to bio lab 2 to save my powerpoint on mr rashidin's laptop.. hee.. i did this powerpoint for the entire yesterday.. took me so long, but i'm very proud of it.. hee.. =) i did a worksheet for the kids too.. juz some blanks on my slides so tat they haf to pay attention in class and fill in the blanks.. =)

8.10am
mr rashidin's class came in for lesson.. since i was done, i left the lab.. dun want to be a 花瓶 in the lab.. went to zap my notes for the kids.. then back to the staff room.. did more dna models, juz in case teachers are coming in for the class.. i oso need some for myself so that i can demo..

9.10am
seeing 1e3 for the first time.. quite a noisy class but not so bad, they will still quieten down.. "presented" my lesson.. i can't remember what time mayling and serina came in, but ya, they came in to film the lesson.. mrs lim had asked me to video down my lesson so that i can show the sch when i present this project.. mr yian came in shortly after the gals.. anyway, i only had 6 slides to show them and they were kinda brief.. so i took only like 20 mins? then i started the dna model activity.. at first they were still ok, still got listened to me.. but aft they took the "dna strands", they start playing with them and making a lot of noise and not listening to me at all.. haha.. still not so bad, but i realised later that because of this, their dna models were quite horribly done.. esp the boys'.. din match the correct coloured wires together.. twisted the entire coloured wires until the colour coding was not distinct.. so i told them to untwist and retwist.. and cos of this, a lot of the wires were distorted liaoz.. oh well.. so the rest of the lesson was juz abt this dna models.. lucky i left plenty of time for this.. and so the lesson ended.. when they left, many of the boys dun want the dna models.. *sad* no wonder they dun want la, it looks really ugly.. oh well.. nvm, i guess they are juz not gifted in art.. wahaha..

10.10am
went back to staff room.. supposedly to haf no more lesson for the rest of the day, but had a last minute relief teaching at 12.40pm.. anyway, was trying to transfer the video clip from alvin's video cam to a computer.. but many of the computers dun have the firewire port (is this wat izzit? i not sure..) for the video cam.. we searched almost everywhere in the sch until mrs lim said tat we could use computer lab 3 at 11.40am after ms hannah (IT teacher) finished her lesson..

10.40am
so meanwhile, i went to try out my dna extraction experiment.. got the blender & seive from the home econs room.. the other sci apparatus from the lab preparation room.. mr koo (lab assistant) was very helpful.. provided me with all the things i need - salt, beakers, test tubes, stirrer, detergent.. everything that i need.. hee.. and it was a success.. *happy* could see the dna threads.. and so, mr koo will prepare the stuffs for me by tmr's lesson.. hee.. tats nice.. i dun haf to worry abt anything at all.. =) anyway, on my way back to the staff room, i met mrs lim and showed her the results test tube.. she said very good, cos can see the dna very clearly.. yay!

my dna extraction test-tube.. the green liquid is the blended green peas with added "ingredients".. the colourless liquid is alcohol.. and dna is actually the white threads (if u see long enuff, u will see it.. haha..) floating in the alcohol layer.. before that, the dna actually rose ftom the green liquid..

11.40am
the bell rang, so i tot may as well go to computer lab 3 first to find ms hannah.. she's a very nice lady and said that we could use the computers.. went back to the staff room and took a photo of the test tube so that i can add it to my powerpoint for tmr's lesson..

11.50am
bixian wanted me to help her see if my laptop could play a chinese vcd for her chinese class.. so alvin went to burn the video clip at computer lab 3 first.. and yes, my lappy, after being reformatted by d.d., has been a very good boy.. so i would be bringing my laptop for her class tmr.. after that i went to find alvin at the lab.. mayling joined us shortly.. apparently, i looked quite dumm in the video, and sounded quite disgusting too.. wahaha.. oh well.. wat to do? it's all part of my genes.. wahaha.. crap..

12.40pm
relief lesson with 3n3.. it was a character development programme (cdp) lesson so, the class was supposed to design a logo for racial harmony.. haiz.. this class was a horrible class.. so noisy, so rude, so rowdy.. i had a hard time controlling them.. asked them to explain to the class about the logo, they took so long to do it.. wasted so much time.. after that, they had to do a worksheet on fusion of 2 ethics food.. i can't think of any actually.. but on the spot thought of sth for them.. i dun think they make sense at all but who cares? aft that they were dismissed..

1.40pm
met serina outside the classroom.. told her abt my horrible class with 3n3.. bad bad bad.. bad experience for me.. muz really go back and 反省 abt my classroom management and teaching style with the more challenging students.. haiz.. still very affected by the class.. huifen said i better not bring home these problems.. haiz.. still?

2.50pm
went to find mr yian with mayling and settled our combined project on data-logging.. kinda settle with him that we wld be using mr rashidin's class - 3e2.. wahaha.. 3e2 again.. anyway, and mr rashidin said we could use his thurs lesson for it if we want.. and he suggested we do the experiment on amylase activity.. ok! settled..

3.00pm
went back to the staff room to discuss in details abt this experiment with mayling.. do up a draft on my lappy.. kinda settled the stuffs already..

4.30pm
left school for tuition.. actually, i'm quite tired already but had to go.. haiz.. saw lifen and yingtong on the bus.. oh well.. i slept still, from somewhere in hougang to bishan..

5.45pm
reached my student's place.. hungry and tired.. ahhhhh.. no choice, haf to endure thru the lesson.. finally, 1.5 hours passed.. yay!

7.20pm
left my student's place..

7.40pm
took bus 156 home instead of bus 88 cos i missed the previous bus 88.. changed to bus 83 at sengkang.. my lappy is really not so light.. and apparently, it has not intention and does not haf the means to lose weight.. ahhhhh..

8.30pm
home sweet home.. but coming home at 8.30pm is no good.. and i din enjoyed dinner at all.. sianz..

at the end of the day..
had been doing my tmr's powerpoint since after i bathe after my dinner.. haiz.. todae was a very long and exhausted day.. kinda proud that i could do so many things in a day though.. and i guess, if i believe i can do it, den i guess i can survive.. oh well, ya bah.. and i was quite happy that the dna lesson was quite good.. serina said she learned a lot, i'm not sure abt the studnets though.. haha.. shall continue to 反省 abt the 3n3 relief lesson i had todae..
