finally could go back to sleep after doing the gaw report and uploading it to my yahoo mail to be sent to sujun.. it took so so so long.. stupid internet.. a waste of my precious sleeping time..

6.00am
woke up..

6.30am
left home.. todae need to go school print bio revision worksheets for the students and the lesson is the first one of the day.. had to do it before assembly, so made an effort to go school earlier.. then need to stamp the graphs that 3e2 handed in yesterday.. quite dumm.. i din sign off the marking with a date.. so ya, go school earlier to do all these lohz..

reached school with kevin.. saw him when i boarded bus 82.. he was one of my classroom tuition kids 2 years ago.. i tink i mentioned this before.. ya, so chatted a bit with him on the bus.. anyway, i reached school.. go print my worksheets, stamp my work.. time for the morning assembly again..

bio lesson with 3e4.. gave them the bio revision worksheets.. i din ask them to close their textbooks - which is a great mistake! they juz copy blindly from the textbook.. after the class, mrs lim said i shd ask them to do the worksheets closed-book so that they will not juz copy.. ya.. *pout* anyway, after that i went on to discuss the questions with them.. and talked a bitmore abt the circulatory system in humans.. i din have enough sleep and at this early in the morning, my brain was not working properly.. as a result, i was not very organised in my teaching.. and as i go along, i knew it was no good.. but too late to do anything.. the lesson had to preceed.. but still not too bad, when i asked them questions juz before the end of the lesson, most of them could ans correctly.. which is a good sign that suggests i had taught them well or the topic is juz too easy for them.. haha.. anyway, this class was really very quiet.. i expect more questions abt the circulatory system from them because it can be quite confusing.. but oh well.. mrs lim had warned me that this class is more docile.. ya bah.. but they are really nice kids.. =) anyway, at the end of the class, mrs lim told me to link more of what i was teaching to the textbook so that when they study, they wun feel that my notes and their text are 2 different things.. ok, i will do that later for 3e1..

by the time, i walked to this class, i was slightly more energetic already.. the class was noisy, as usual.. they had an a-maths lesson juz before this with alex.. so during the morning assembly, i asked alex to tell them that i say that they are louder than ms ang.. haha.. tot could play a joke on them.. but apparently, alex din do so.. oh well.. anyway, yup, like i said, they were still very noisy.. took very long to settle down.. when they finally did, i returned their graphs to them.. remember i stamp on their graphs, things like "super", "good work", "need improvement" and "try harder".. the first thing they ask when they got the papers back was "teacher, who mark this?" and when i told them it was me, they said, "ay, no wonder.. mrs lim dun use stamps.." *diao* but anyway, yup, i went thru their work with them and i tot this is very impt cos they did the work on tues, and today is thurs.. the time-gap is short which means they can rem more of what they did earlier on.. and so, i nag and nag for like 5 mins.. tell them to write units for the axis, draw table on the graph table, write the equation of the graph if any, write the coordinates of the points they use to find gradient, draw dotted triangles, draw dotted lines, write proper statement for each part of the answer.. blah blah blah.. and so, i nag and nag at them for 5 mins.. then i went on to discuss another graph question which i asked them to go home and complete.. again, as i go thru, i nag and nag again.. then i think as i do i sounded very agitated, but actually i was not.. so one of them actually ask, "teacher, u teach us muz be very peh-chey right?" haha.. actually, it was not at all.. juz that i was really trying very hard to force the idea into them abt the things they need to pay attention to when drawing graphs.. after they handed in this question, i went on to do a question involving distance under the graph with them.. basically, the graph was drawn for them in the question.. they had to apply what they know earlier to find the acceleration and distance of the vehicle in this speed-time graph.. so when i was teaching them how to find distance, i told them abt finding area under the graph which is of the shape of a trapezium.. then they dunno the formula for the area of a trapezium.. haiz.. nvm, i tell them.. and when the question was almost completed, one student asked if he can used the criss-cross method to find the area of the trapezium.. at first i din noe what he was toking abt, then i realised he was toking abt finding area of figures in coordinate geometry in a-maths.. haha.. i told him he can, but it will take a very long time.. then another asked, "teacher, who ask one? xyz ah? aiyoh, so stupid!" he said this in a joking tone which i noe means no harm but i make him apologise to the boy anyway.. but they were still laughing hilariously at the suggestion.. and apparently, laughing was contagious.. i couldn't help but laugh also.. and i couldn't stop for quite a while.. then i told him, no one would do that because this kinda e-maths question will appear in paper 1 where no calculator is allowed so using the a-maths criss-cross method is going to take very long.. then the class laugh again, apparently thinking that it was very funny of him to suggest that in the first place.. ok, then we moved on to the next part.. supposed to find coordinate value when the graph cut x-axis.. i was abt to tell them to use algebra to solve when the same boy suggest using y=mx+c.. wahaha.. the class laughed again.. apparently, this dun work because the equation of the graph was not given.. very funny.. so the whole lesson was like so lively, with laughters here and there.. i really enjoyed it.. thought it was really good for the boy to ask.. better clarify now then question the possibility during the exams.. anyway, i will be teaching them again tomorrow, and they were very happy.. haha.. they love me? wahaha.. they juz like to bully me.. haha..

9.40am
i din finish the class on time and another class was waiting outside.. after that, mrs lim told me that next time muz keep track of the time and release them on time because they will be late for the next class and another class using the classroom will start their lesson late too.. oh well, the disadvantage of homeroom system.. anyway, one of the students whom i asked to re-do the first graph came to me and said he re-do liao.. i chech thru, the script was not there at all.. apparentky, trying to trick me.. so i went all the way from the staff room to the chem lab and waited for him until the 10.40am bell rang.. and indeed, he only did the 2nd graph and handed that it in, not the re-do one.. haiz.. so i told him, he had to hand it to me tmr.. 欺负我.. *humph* after that, i went back to mark the 2nd graph which 3e2 juz handed in.. today i took a shorter period of time to mark.. think because since yesterday, i knew must mark part by part then easier.. and todae, they make less mistakes.. yay! so easier to mark oso.. so happy.. got a few students got full marks.. aiyoh, i was so happy.. at least really can see improvement.. i really happy lehz.. hee.. tat means my nagging is worthwhile.. haha.. ya, so generally, most handed in better graphs.. =) i told mrs lim this when i saw her later on.. hee.. she said good, that means they are listening.. haha..

12.10pm
bio lesson with 3e1.. this time round, i let them do the revision worksheets with the book closed.. hmm, indeed, more efficient but they took a longer time.. after i go thru the ans with them, i went on to teach them abt the circulatory system.. this time round, i'm more awake and more aware of what i was toking and i think when they say they understand, they really do.. =) i finished before time too, so let them read and i question them.. not so bad, they can vaguely remember what i told them..

1.10pm
lesson over.. i went to home econs room to see if i can borrow a blender.. the teacher there very nice, said no prob.. hee.. after that i went back to staff room, saw the rest going for lunch, so i joined them..

1.40pm
finished lunch.. called one of the technical assistants whether i can borrow the school's video cam.. the person said muz borrow from the mrl.. ok, i will do that tmr then..

2.00pm
went with alex & alvin to sam again.. this time, 1e1, 1e2 & 2e2 were with us.. me & alvin were on one bus with 1e2.. they were not naughty la, juz a bit mischeivous and making a bit too much noise.. but i still can sleep.. then i was awoken by alvin's shouting.. one of the gals actually try to beat up another one at the back of the bus.. i dunno wat actually happen but alvin said he saw them fighting.. so erm, ya, he scolded them after they alighted at sam.. there were many more pple todae.. very crowd.. and the students todae are not really keen in looking at the artworks nor are they interested in watching the animations.. sianz.. they move from one end to the other very fast and then gathered outside the exhibition hall within 1/2 hour.. haiz.. it's ok that they do not want to look at the artwork, but at least behave themselves la, pls.. anyway, the exhibition hall building has glass window that only allows pple on the inside to see through but pple on the outside can't see what is inside.. but juz so happened that there is a small hole in the coating of one of the windows that so happen to be transparent.. so there were a few boys outside the building playing a fool, jumping ard like clowns, peeping thru the hole.. apparently, they noe pple on the inside are watching them.. and one of them even pointed his middle finger.. when i saw this i was like, wat one earth are these boys doing? so i stand juz in front of the hole, they could see me when they peer thru and all start to run away.. but i was already not very happy with them.. so i left the place, went to find them and scolded them.. shame on them to be mishaving in their school uniforms.. after that, more and more students start to gather ard the fountain at sam as if tat was a playground.. so the teachers decided to bring them back to school.. anyway, there were too many students to be able to see anything, watch anything in peace..

me and alvin went to bras basah to buy more materials for my dna models.. after that, we went to cityhall for ice-cream.. hee.. alvin's treat..

4.45pm
went home.. i slept all the way on bus 80 from bras basah to hougang.. i juz slept, automatic sleeping machine.. haha..

6.20pm
reached home.. ate dinner.. good food again.. 爷爷 is great! =)

at the end of the day..
i must have enough sleep otherwise mess up a whole lesson which is not very good for the students.. i realised for 3e2, if i raised my voice a bit louder than them, they will quieten down slightly.. but d.d. says dun use my throat to scream too much.. not very good for the throat.. oh well.. alex was saying muz practise using 丹田 the next few years before we go into nie.. wahaha.. remember to follow up what you ask the students to do.. otherwise, they will nv obey you again.. scold them when necessary.. for me, behaving in public is very important.. the students should feel proud of their school and love their school such that they would not do anything in public that may reflect badly on the school..
